Inoffensive. Nothing special. Elevator music for baby boomers. Perhaps a pleasant cure for insomnia.

Is the sound quality of the vinyl good and worth buying vs the CD?
I only have the CD and it sounds quite good. It looks as if stereo5 can jump in. He bought in every available format.

The Vinyl sounds smoother and more effortless than the cd. I think it was well worth the price and I think MD is selling it for around 36.00 (it is a double 180gm disks). The full size color booklet is a nice touch. The best is the Hi-Rez download. It sounds amazing, more open with a larger soundstage than the vinyl, plus you get 3 extra songs (for a total of 21) in high rez 24/96.

The tolling of the iron bell
Calls the faithful to their knees
To hear the softly spoken magic spells."
