Hi Bob...I assume you mean 7 inch 45s? I use the ones Bags Unlimited sells, they have lids.

The 10 3/8'' length boxes are supposed to hold 125 but that sounds optimistic.Which sized box are you using and how many actually fit?
I'm actually using 2 different sized boxes (I have about 800 7 inch 45s);
I have a larger zized box...about 20 1/3 inches deep. It holds around 230-240 records plus alpha dividers with plenty of room to spare for flipping through looking for one..I have photos but don't seem to be able to upload them....
The smaller sized one is on about 11 1/2 inches deep but will hold around 120-130 records OK. I've crammed in more, which makes for a tight fit, solution here is to just remove a bit at the front of the box to make room so you can flip through them.
Also...they have similar sized boxes for R2R 7 inch reels...I have them too...check their catologue, I think they are higher. The best part of these boxes is that you can stack them at least 3 high no problem.

You're being very helpful here,Grant. I've forgotten how many I have,may be about the same as you do. Have most of them in 4 cardboard storage boxes,the rest are in small shipping boxes and the old style ''platter packs'' with the handles. Hope you're able to provide some pics.
Bob
...obviously not as heavy when full, and if you store on a shelf that's not very deep, this would be the one to go with.
cheers

Thanx,Grant. They look good but I'm in a goldilocks sorta quandary here. One is too big,the other..well,you know. I'll sit back and wait for an itermediate size to become available.
Bob
..this is the larger one that holds over 200...when full, it can be a bit heavy pulling off a high shelf in a closet!
Yup,the 7 inchers. I'll check that out......
.....thanx,
Bob
