Dman, I already liked the Mk2, but in my system at least the rewire provided a slight (but noticeable) improvement in clarity and space. Enough to be worth it for me.
Follow Ups:
I recently soldered (using Kester 2% silver solder) the leads from the arm cable (NOT the DIN plug. At least, not yet!) to my MC stage inputs, as well as the MC output line. I was pleasantly surprised at the improve in focus and lower noise...
Cheers,

Dman, if you're in the U.S. the only problem with the Audio Origami rewire is the cost to send the arm to the U.K and back, and the fact that you'll have to make some careful decisions about whether you want to declare value for insurance. The cost and potential duty fees can add up. If, though (like me), you have some bearing tuning done and some other work, the transit costs don't seem too bad. I did the Linn Swing test on mine after I got it back and figured it was "good enough" when it was still going after 100 swings. :-)
