I'll be keeping my Beogram 1800 radial. The 1600 before it intro'd me to better gear back in the day (~'81). Glad u kep it.
Got Rainbow Bridge reissue mastered by BG at HPB a few days ago. Like CoL, excellent.

I've got an original MMC2 on it. Purchased when you could still get NOS from B&O early 2000s. ~750 hrs: so suspension may be suspect by now and wear, prolly OK: I practice good stylus hygiene, trx at 1g, & is LC. Still sounds good. It was fairly recently decommissioned. If I put it back on deck, it'll likely need a new belt. Pretty slow on start ups last I played. Glad soundsmith has repl carts. I'd prolly just get the SMMC4.

Excellent references and reasonble prices. I'll shoot you an email with the link when I get home. He'll do everything from a conical stylus through microline but his Shibata seems to be the most popular.
I still have the original B&O MMC4 cart that came with my TX2. If I can't raise the dough for the SMMC2, I'll ship the MMC4 off to Deutschland.
Would rather have the Soundsmith, I just love the speed of the SMMC4. If the TX croaks, Soundsmith sells 1/2-inch mount adapters.
