Nice find! I have the Dorati/Sean Connery, nice recording. Also the Captain Kangaroo narrated version is a keeper.
I will have to look for the Buckley version.

favorite is Basil Rathbone narrating. I grew up with that in the 50's. His voice was like an instrument and I grab any caedmon LPs I can get that he is recorded on.
Can't agree about Rathbone, much as a loved him in his movie roles. But I agree Sean Connery was excellent. Another top narrator imo was Sir John Gielgud. Also surprisingly effective -- Leonard Bernstein.
of Peter and the wolf is magical time travel. I am a young kid, it's back in the 50's, listening to the magic coming out of 1 speaker. All the old inlaws were still alive then. I know it's not the best recording but for me it has the magic. I have ~ 10 other versions, but still find the "magic" in this one. Norm
