It's exceptionally in a clean state.

As well, a early 70's start/stop switch! I've NEVER seen one that old. We're the original plinths made with solid wood? Having never seen one, I couldn't have guessed either way.
I'm sure other Linnies will have opinions as well (LOL)!

For very brief period of time, LP 12 was sold without a plinth for those who want fit it in a console. So, assumption here is that someone removed it and put with a non Linn solid wood plinth.
My understanding is that they were never supplied with chip wood plinth.
Also in the early era the LP12 was supplied with a rubber mat rather than felt mat. So what's shown in the pix is not an original item.
Interesting to see a hammertone inner platter, tho.
