Well, you could go to hardware store and look for a large washer with a hole big enough for the arm stud to go through. Then you could either glue the washer onto the rear end of the counterweight or use double sided tape to attach it.

the Zu really needs additional counterweight, hence the washers. You can actually get away without the additional washers but the large counter weight is then literally hanging off the back of the arm and is not particularly stable in that position.
