I really would like a good copy of this. I am going to pull the trigger on a light colored Geffen unless someone can talk me out of it (if I should choose a different pressing). Thank you.

It's just an album. Take any copy you can find that's in good shape. Buy more music with the savings. I've never bothered looking for that "perfect" album, it just isn't worth the effort and I suspect the differences can sometimes be quite subtle.
It's not that I don't like good sound, but rather that I don't worry if the album sound is poor - there's not much I can do about it.
I think you posted this in the SH forum as well. Go UK or Classic Records on this.
I would love a Classic version of this but they are going for $100+, the lower priced American Geffens or Mercurys are not very good?
Well, the US are okay, but the UK is richer and more dynamic. The Classic goes deeper and is even more dynamic. If you can't afford a Classic, go for a UK original. It's worth the difference vs. a US.
