200mL of Ollie's is $40.00 US. 10L of de-ionized water, $28.50. 2 1/2 gallons of cleaner, $70.00.
Cheaper than RLL by far but I know I don't want to rinse with Distilled water which in previous tests put Snap, Crackle and Pop back on a cleaned record. Using De-ionized for rinse eliminates the cost advantage.
I think I'll keep enriching Music Direct.
Follow Ups:
10 litres of deionised water is less than $10.00 here, not sure why you are paying $28.00.BH

Anyway a 1L of RLL, now sold as MoFi, costs $25, 30L = $750
Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab Super Record Wash (32 Oz)
Fancy water or not no price comparison. $100 + shipping + distilled water or other stuff and still less than $200.
Some use 40-1 OCRVC so the MoFi cost would be more still.
That's the point, compared to commercial alternatives costs little and many think it works great -- does improve record cleaned, often significantly.
Good stuff. Recommended -- needs rinse so if that is a concern not an option.
Never trust an Atom, they Make Up everything!
I get great results at that rate plus I have a 10-1 mixture for the real grubby thrift store/garage sale purchases. Once I tried OCRVC there was no going back to all the other products I had tried.

and you can get it at the local grocery store. I've noticed no difference between this and more expensive waters, except the price.

That is what the label says. "Distilled" is used just for advertising purposes. I have been using the supermarket product for a few years now with great results and have no intention of paying more for the same results.

RRL (Music Direct) is IMHO without peer, With the RRL wash there is no rinse
necessary or even desired.
Which cleaner are you guys referring to? I don't find any items neither with a RRL search on Music Direct nor looking through their record cleaning products.
RRL is now called Mobile Fidelity, MDs house brand.
I discovered years ago that 2 Super awash applications made a large improvement over one; more recently that Super Deep followed by Wash improved on that.
