Maybe not your cup of tea if you're not into do-it-yourself, but I build my own stackable, staggered-slatted modules out of 1x8 poplar I biscuit-join to get the desired depth. They're easy to make, can be stained or painted to obtain the desired finish, and offer both placement flexibility and as-I-need-it expandability. They're also relatively inexpensive.Photos of how they're built, how they stack, and how LPs fit them are here:
