Two weekends ago, my daughter wanted to shop for records, so I met her at the corner of Haight and Masonic, and we walked west to Amoeba and Reckless Records. I picked up a number of great records and finally got to listen to a few this past weekend, and I can heartily recommend ALL!Happy Listening

That Partch disc is a family favorite....seriously, we all love "Barstow". I recently pulled out Laurie Anderson's "Mr. Heartbreak" for a spin. My wife and I were taken with how well that music has worn for us.

I've been enjoying that one on occasion for a couple decades now.
