I have rare first pressings and a bunch of great and inexpensive reissues.

about this one?
Thanks,
Jim
It's one of the first records with Jimmy Blanton in the band, from 1939 or early 1940. I have most of the Jimmy Blanton era 78's, but not this one. Nice score.

Those brught gold label Columbia pressings were the best shellac pressings ever made. This record should be a reissue of a Brunswick release. Most likely, it's an alternate take, and therefore it would be the first issue of the record. It is pressed from the original stampers.
Guess I need to put that 78 stylus on. Never listened to it before.
Thanks,
Jim
If it's not too compressed, it should be fairly high fidelity.
