    ... Steve, I was blown away by the potted transformers. They remind me of the old power supply caps in a 1920's Majestic Radio I have. I also wondered if they are potted entirely in what appear to be wax, or if there is some "tar" under the wax-like stuff.

    Replacement issues aside, it is a pretty cool way to mount the transformers.
