Oh, yes, didn't mean to be cryptic, I meant to post this under the thread. This is the transformer from the previously amphibious Marantz 2245, which I am parting out now. Sorry about the confusion..

What's the claimed power O/P for the Marantz 2245? I ask because, believe it or not, it can be adapted for use with tubed circuitry. Magnetics are expensive and the money saved on buying a power trafo can be used, among other things, to buy the parts needed for the complex voltage multiplier supply needed.

For 120vac operation he needs to tie white to brown and red to yellow and then yellow and brown will be his primary leads.
So twist the white and brown wires together and the red and yellow together and then take your continuity check between yellow and brown which is also where you hook it up to 120vac. The primaries of course will have the white and red wires hooked as well now.
