Attempting to follow McIntosh alignment instructions which say to short coil not being adjusted with a cap/resistor. I know which coil is primary (bottom) vs secondary (top) but I'm not sure which pins 1&2 vs 3&4 go with which coil. The schematic doesn't help because some stages pin 1&2 lead the sequence and some stages 3&4 do. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Best bet is to compare schematic to actual physical circuit to suss out what terminal is what.
Thanks for responding. Yeah, I can follow the schematic easy enough and know which pins are which but the problem is in two cases the coil connected to pins 1&3 is the input which I normally associate with "Primary" but in two other cases the input side is the coil connected to pins 3&4. Therefore I don't know which pins are associated with the top coil and which pins are associated with the bottom coil. I'm sure with a little trial and error I can figure it out. Have a great holiday.
