Front ADAPTOR switch turned off?
Follow Ups:
Yea...too many options
You can see from rear shots --- [exciting, isn't it?].... 8^)
--- that the ADAPTOR jacks look like PRE-OUT/AMP-IN RCA's. Could be that switch shorts out this option? Like jumpers?
Just a Sunday WAG...
The adaptor switch needs to be off (sticking out). Can't tell from the picture if it is off (out), press it in and out a few times, in case the contacts are dirty. Same thing with the monitor switch. It is in the correct position, but you could switch it back and forth, in case contacts are dirty. Same with selector switch.
Hifi engine has both a user manual and a service manual. You need to be a member, but it is free.
he could just use jumpers between the input and output?
Yes, that is a very good idea.
