all the wood was cracked and warped from water damage, the dust cover was cracked, and a few screws were rusted. However, I managed to salvage the Grace 707 tonearm, all the unusual wire leads, and the tonearm post.
If someone were real energetic, they could re-mount all the under-plinth electronics on a homemade plinth, because all the switches and motor worked perfectly. I don't know how that could happen with all the water damage around it. Some switches would have to have light rust removed, but they still worked.
Follow Ups:
I use a 707 and it is a great tonearm for a high compliance cartridge. I hope you kept the DIN to RCA wires. It has a male instead of a female connector.
