Correct me if I am wrong (and I have an SAE preamp that I plan to work on soon), but Fader Lube wouldn't hurt also.

Where did you get it and is it OK for potentiometers and switches as well?
You are welcome! I went to the Caig sight (store.caig.com) and it depends on the conductive material. It looks like what I called Fader Lube is now calls Fader F series and is for conductive plastic and carbon. For non ferrous metal, they recommend Gold. I bought mind at a local musical instrument store, but you can buy it all over the internet.

plus, I am not certain that plain-vanilla DeOxit is safe and appropriate for all slide pots.
