Cougars were more expensive and with that had higher-end interiors.The tricky part about restoring Cougars is finding aluminum trim parts in good condition, as most are not made in reproduction.
You can nearly build an entire 1969 Camaro just using repro parts and there are guys selling valid VIN numbers for a price. A rough 69 body with a VIN w/o engine or tranny generally is at least $5000 and maybe closer to $10,000 assuming there is a valid VIN to build around.
