Many years ago a friend had a "beater" Chevy 2 he drove to work.
About that time Ford was running a big ad campaign with the slogan, "Mustang 2, boredom 0".
So I went to our graphics department and made a bumper sticker for him, "Chevy 2, boredom 7".
David's looks like it has more potential than my friend's.

Hi Mike,
Some people preferred to have an extra edge in the competition. I think you would have liked this one as a kid!
Dave
and had the same basic running gear.
The Mustang II ('74-'78) was a sorry excuse from the model it replaced and those that came afterwards. But that was/is not uncommon to build different models on the same platform.

That is correct and could pull the body off one and put it on the other's chassis with no modification. Yes,the Mustang 2 was sorry excuse for a Mustang which was a slightly upscale Pinto. One the Fox body came in 79 for the Mustang and Capri, things took off.
