I just purchased a home with a in-wall and in-ceiling speakers throughout the house. Two cables that I believe are the speaker cables are sticking through the wall in a cabinet. The connectors are unlike any I've seen, so I imagine they are some obsolete propriety system. The system likely dates to the late 80s. See attached. Any ideas?
Thanks.

Bang and Olufson master control link cables. They run to a box in the attic. Thanks for the suggestions.
That explains the 3-prongs.

Looks like vintage 2-pin DIN system ala' Bang and Olufsen or other european brands. Just with an extra pin.
I swear I've seen that plug before. Just can't remember what the brand was.
Maybe meant to carry left and right signal with common ground?
Where does other end terminate?
I thought it was B&O when I looked at it, but it has been a while. It should be easy to re-terminate no matter who made it.
