Thinking about re-stuffing the old caps. Thing needs to be safe for use. Prolly get rid of that "death cap." Or at least take it out of the circuit. Gotta find a thin, old school style 3-prong outlet wire.

Yeah, could always just recap it and put the old ones into s zip lock bag for future reference. I like how simple it is.. did you do a frequency sweep on the speaker and see if it's still in good shape? May want to stow that away for safe keeping and use a "jensen" day to day
Was thinking the same thing, about the speaker. I have a Weber 6-inch alnico laying about.
These little amps can be such great tone makers. Hard to beat.

That appears to be a Permaflux speaker and is date code correct. Very nice amp!
