It looks like it is reproducible, but it won't be easy or cheap. That is one impressive speaker. IMO it would be worth a lot of trouble to restore.

I'm thinking of making a mold out of wax and filling it with plastic or maybe even yellow carpenter's glue. I'll try spraying an area of the grille with something like Pam cooking spray to use like a mold release compound. Or I could probably heat the mold with hot water and the wax should melt away.

It would probably help to know how the original was made. They probably know on the Lancing Heritage site.
