Find yourself a used Carver M-10t plenty of power for A25's and really makes them sing.

Yes they don't have a good track record for reliability- I found mine from a seller who had it in climate controlled storage for 37 years - she had never even been turned on. Opened her up and looked brand new. Never had a problem with mine, but gets little use, as I only power my A25's with it, and don't listen as much as I use my tube gear 90% of the time.
You might want to break out the ESR meter and check the large electrolytics in the power supply. People warn about that a lot in the asylum, however, the ones I have checked were all fine. If the amp sounds good it probably is good. I have some gear that I plan to change all the electrolytics, but it is a big job when the coupling caps are electrolytic to (as they are in the Carver equipment. I am glad that you are enjoying your Carver amp!
