Well I am thinking about letting a Friend of mine use it with his big POLK Speakers,as they seem to want & like power! This way I'll be able to test out just how good the amp really is!He is in need of a good Receiver
right now as his Pioneer is not work right & also does not have enough Power to properly drive his POLK'S!When I am there I'll get the Model # of them Speakers! I only have $30.00 invested in the Receiver & they even gave me a Sony 200 disc changer with the deal, but it is not an ES model!
I only bought it cause it was an ES Sony, not just a Sony & at that price,I could not lose as it is in nice shape!
Follow Ups:
IF the disc changer has a digital O/P, do you really care about the quality of Sony's analog circuitry? Hook the (presumed) digital O/P to a separate DAC and listen to the music.

Thanks for the advice!
That is a good idea. I would not want a nice receiver like that to go to waste.

That's what I was thinking, and we have been good friends for almost 30 years & go to the same Church! I know he will enjoy it and if I decide to sell it to him if he wants it,I'll only charge him what I paid! I also have to say I know more people then I have in friends! My Daughter who just turned 18 last year, still does not get it! I have to keep telling her just because I know & talk to someone in public, does not mean the are my friend! They are just acquaintances,in which there really is a big difference! I am sure you understand what I am saying.
