I picked up a very rough, non-working Spec-4 a while ago and am now trying to determine the best way to get it going. The first thing I wanted to do was replace the broken glass covering for one of the meters, but I see no easy way to remove it.
Can anyone give a quick description of hwo to remove the bezel over the VU meters?

I know vinyl engine has online manuals for TT's. Maybe a google search will turn up something.
And just like you would expect with a Pioneer, it looks simple.
Any progress?
Someone gave me a pair of RTR 300Ds so now I need to refoam and recap my RTR 240Ds and get those sold. Large floor standing speakers take up a lot of space so they usually become a higher priority item once they start to accumulate, and vintage hifi equipment seems to congregate at my house.
BTW, it was quite easy to replace the glass, except for the fact that one of the level knobs was stuck even after I removed the two set screws.
Hope it helps and you get it up to spec!
