Hello
Thank you for all the info ! Lot to digest !
There is a pair of klipsch LaScala l a for sale on eBay For 1000$
The wood looks rough but I can fix that easily
What upgrade would I need to do and is it a good choice ? They were made in 1977 !
Thank you for your answers

I would get the LaScalas... if you like your music loud, they will amaze you. They sound a bit rough and beamy when stock, but there's a neverending list of upgrades / mods wich are relatively cheap and fun to try out, and turn them into very respectable high sensitivity speakers. They're a fun project in the long run. i bought mine stock 15 years ago and kept improving them year after year. they now sound better (to my ears at least) than any off-the-shelf loudspeaker I can think of (except maybe the really, really expensive ones) and once you've lived with LaScalas dynamics, you can't go back.

LaScalas would play loud enough to blow you out of the room with the Class A button pushed on the M-60. If you have never heard Klipsch before, you should listen first. They are not everybody's cup of tea. If it were me and I was good at cabinetry,I would look into building the Cornscala, either C or D.

Looked at the Cornscalas
Question: are all the drivers featured the correct choices for the speakers or should I consider upgrading to get better sound and use the cabinets?
If I buy the used LaScalas speakers, would you be able to. "help" me upgrade drivers and crossovers?
Thoughts? Thanks .
I would think that you should stick with the drivers listed, but that would be a better question for the designer.
