The RC-2 amp is done and rally sounds nice. I recapped it and replaced any resistor more than 10% out or with signs of heat. The RC-8 tuner is going to need a lot of work. It's had some parts replaced already and has many heat deformed resistors. A recap did allow it to pass a signal but there was almost no voltage on the 6C4 output tube. It isn't going to be much fun to replace a lot of these components that are really tightly placed.

Yes I blew that one and you can;t edit the subject line so I took the lazy way out and upper cased it to boot. Really though the amp sounds great, not a bit of hum, driving to 8" two ways with a portable cDP connected to the input was really sweet.

No hum with the 6J5 in the circuit? Did you restore to a schematic or just replace parts with same values? I'm going to check your photos again to see if I can confirm which circuit.
