Centered around an Opus 7 mono radio/amp chassis w/2-EL84 and a TW 561 changer it has a solid cherry cabinet. Purchased from the original owner! 6 Speakers: 2 8-1/2" 2 4" and 2 2.8" electrostatic tweeters!
All papers, manuals, schematic and a cool thing called the "Telefunken Invitation to Better Reception" a booklet with US AM stations, International Shortwave and a small list of FM stations. (Wash DC having only 9 then) None of the papers/manuals looks even read.
Powered up slowly w/ a VARIAC.......it works! Will give the once over soon. Pretty huh? I lucked out on this.

So, mono radio and stereo phono. I'm NOT a fan of those changers and record damaging piezoelectric cartridges. JMO, replace with the changer something better, like Technics, Pioneer, BIC ... and a modest MM cartridge. Jim Hagerman's Bugle 2 takes care of the phono preamp issue.
DIYer extraordinaire S. Bench provides a MPX adapter, should you want to add FM stereo.

....mono all the way, a pair of EL84s in push-pull. year is 1956/57.

I looked at a schematic I found and yes the amp is mono. I had a Saba that was a stereo amp/mono tuner.

We agree on the phono. I put a Garrard Lab 80 in my last Telefunken. I used a hole saw and sabre saw to cut the sliding board on which it is mounted. Not sure what I'll do here phono-wise. Needs an eye tube. Cheap on the bay.On my Magnavox mono I took out the Collaro and only a linear tracker would fit due to size so a Technics is there. Have a good weekend Eli.
