Hi James, I know Mike Samra does some side help to vintage gear even though he's teaching as his main job. Theres another guy Eli Duttman, although I don't know if he does any repair or restorations for the public. I'll tell you though between both of them they could tell you the resistor and cap line up of the Marantz 7T without looking at the schematic. If these 2 guys lived a while back they both could have cracked the German Enigma Machine code.I'll bet they might chime in...Mark Korda

Thanks for the "plug". Right now, I don't do work for other folks. I hope to be retired, soon. After that happens, we'll see about taking work on.
Since the OP lives in the Pacific NW, he should think about contacting Don Sachs, who posts on AA as dls123. Don lives in BC and does quite a bit of work for US clients.

Since he is in the Northwest,my friend Jeff Lester (Mr9Iron) would be a good choice and he would rebuild it just like I would and Jeff's in Seattle.
Thanks for the recommend tho.

You're too nice but you just don't want to work on it because the voltages are too low! Just kidding! I had a 7T once. If I restored one I'd put an IEC on it for a good power cord and replace the RCA's as well or at least some or most of them. There are a lot. Would you replace the tone control R/C's? I guess if you only listen flat you could save $$ by not doing those.
