A Bose 901 times 100...
That's right...a Bose 90,100...
Talk about craptastic...and what do the floor-firing drivers do? Oh, wait...I think this was actually a first generation Roomba robotic vacuum cleaner tweak...

is there even a speaker made whose resistance would allow that?
They probably are wired in series/patallel to get 8/16 ohms.
Or, the transformers on my Macs,(put away) have a output tap allowing strings of speakers for applications like when you have a building with multiple speakers.

You haven't seen the Bozak Concert Grands:
Don't remember the specifics but if you started with the kit version, you bought a huge cabinet and slowly added drivers. Several versions over the decades so configurations have changed.
One version I recall in the late 60's ended with 4 each 12 inch woofers ( per side), something like 16 5 1/4 Mid drivers in two vertical columns and 8 tweeters in a vertical array also. These were all per side....
Talk about wall of sound.....
concert grande???
could be. AS a high school kid I lusted for them: so many drivers and you could keep adding them on in pairs starting off with a tweeter and a midrange. Couldn't afford the damn cabinets which were huge. Heard one pair and it redefined wall of sound for me.
I notice Peter Brueniger likes them so much he has two pairs.
