Hook your dual table back up and see if it goes away but use a different cartridge. If it goes away, you may have a problem in the cartridge if it's only on one channel.

Mikey,
I sold the dual a long time ago, so I do not have another table or cartridge I could try, but I do have my other pre amp I could try..it is so odd it is one channel, the rumbe goes to the side of wherever I plug that one channel in...
Shoot over to Ira's and hook it up.It may be a setup issue or take a look at a loose wire on the cartridge to the tonearm base.

I agree Mikey. There is no way possible that actual turntable rumble could only be in one channel. If the cartridge is good, I am also wondering if it could be a wiring issue.P.S. I checked out his system. He has 2 fantastic vintage systems. I am a little jealous! The Thorens is definitely the right "next step".
