I acquired one of these beast receivers - it sounds pretty decent for it's age but all of the lamps are out. I took a look and it appears the ones that light the tuning dial area are lamps with wiring attached and connected to something that I have not yet determined. So, it doesn't seem they are plug in type. How does one go about changing this type out and is it difficult for an electronics dufus like me? Any advice on the other lamps at the meters, etc.?
This receiver is quite striking when it is all lit up.
Thanks for any advice!

all lit up except for the left power meter. I am checking to see how that one is lit.
It looks pretty good with all of the lamps burning!
Thanks.
Nice, there are days when I wish I had my old Sansui 8080DB back. Sold it back in the day and moved to separates, amp/preamp/tuner set up
Lamps can be a real hassle if they're not the fuse type common to 70's Marantz units. The worst kind of lamps are those that have to be soldered in. I had a Realistic STA-180 receiver that had a few lights out and once I opened it up I found that they were not the fuse type and you practically would have had to take the thing apart to replace them. I took it to a repairman and he told me that it wouldn't be worth his time or my money to replace them!
Good Luck
