You have to understand that old CD players are looked at like computers.They are usually sold for next to nothing and being this one only plays standard CDs,they no doubt figured it was not worth much.

The may not have realized it was a CD player. In my area, they will put out anything with rack handles because people will buy it for the box. When I bought my Yamaha C-2x preamp at a pawn shop, the young woman selling it to me asked me what it was!

My friend in Delevan Wisconsin Goodwill got a pair of Klipsh Belles,a Sota Sapphire with Summiko arm,a Revox A77,a Classe amp and preamp all for 750.00 five years ago.
