You do really nice restoration work.Mikey's acumen on which components to change and use has it sounding super great no doubt. What tube types does that preamp.use and are you using old or new tubes?

all 12ax7 minus the rectifier 6x4, they were the tubes that the owner sent with it..all '60's RCA
Mikey has the right mix of engineer, and "art" - which I feel you need both when trying to achieve good sound..

It's good to know that the LC21 is such a good preamp.once restored.
The Fisher 80C preamps are also nice mono preamps..
