What type of glue to put hold the Fisher emblem on?
Follow Ups:
Epoxy for glass or construction adhesive that comes in tubes. Found at home Depot.Try it on some thing else first to get the hang of "how" to use it. Once you get that stuff on, you're NOT getting it off!

BC, go out to your tool room and get the caulking gun used for painting. Just a small dab of clear silicone will do when dry. If you want to do something else someone suggests, you can scrape the silicone off both cage and emblem with your fingernail with no damage....Mark Korda
Velcro would do the trick!
"I have a The Fisher". :)
Have you considered some double sided industrial tape cut in an oval, maybe by 3M.
I would think the tape would dry out after some hours of tube heat on it. I was thinking JB Weld or something heat resistant. Not sure though....
not if you use Scotch VHB tapes (very high bond). Kinda expensive and get the one with the red backing. It has a superflexible clear polyester backing and comes in various thicknesses depending the roughness of the surface to be used on.
VHB are used by Lincoln to hold the body panels on Firetrucks to the frame, BTW. Also the Chicage O Hare airports mirroed ti ceiling also use them
Very tough stuff in my experience.
+1. This is the stuff carmakers use to put nameplates on cars, iirc. Withstands high temps, but can be removed if necessary
Epoxy, if permanent.
