Helping a friend out. He wants to upgrade as it's all original.
Also, the fan is annoyingly loud.

Does your friend have some some money to spend? While somewhat pricey, AVA rebuilds of Dyna and Hafler SS equipment are 1st rate. I have 1st hand experience and am a highly satisfied customer.
Frank VA and company retain sheet metal, power trafo, and (if functional) the MOSFET "finals". All the rest goes.

Interesting link Eli.
A bit too much for his budget.
Ok
I would just put some shunt caps across the input filter caps..Put the biggest polypro bypasses on there that will fit..They are a DC coupled amp so outside of changing the circuitry there isn't much you can do.

I prefer to have the schemo before popping the hood.
I'd buy it if I could find one.
