Found a pair at goodwill today $20. No grills. Needed to remove the rear connector cup on one b/c of loose connector. Very simple fix. Listening to them now. They sound very good, but from pics I've seen online, I think these may have had drivers replaced with after market products. Drivers don't like pics of 4410s I've seen online. (Crappy ipad pic below). Not sure what is neutral setting for mid & HF, 0 at 4 o'clock or -3, w/ dial straight up. Opinions welcome. (Posted over at speaker forum as well.)
Thanks,
Jim

Follow Ups:
You have the correct midrange and tweeter, however the woofer is a replacement. The brand is wrong, notice the dust cap is a different size, pleats are different and has rubber surrounds. Zero is the neutral setting for the pots, they might sound better if you clean them too. The correct speaker below.

Thanks. Finding proper woofers is where I'll start.

Is to take out the drivers and look at them. JBL made their own drivers and they are labeled quite well. They are also quite robustly made and some are almost too pretty to hide in a cabinet. Also the drivers were made to be able to be repaired, and can be taken apart. Look for little red wax seals with 'JBL' pressed in the wax covering the screws.
good luck

I pulled the woofer & they are Eminence Professional Series, made in KY, USA. About a $140 driver. The tweeter has no mfr name, just 035ti & a serial #. Didn't pull the mids once I realized the woofer & tweeter were not jbl.
They sound very good, but the upper freqs can sound etchy & bright & the LF's seem to have good extension, but not much pluck or definition. I'll either hold out for orig drivers or disclose the after market drivers & sell locally. I'll enjoy my KLH 6's in the meantime. Thanks again for the tips.

Probably what happened is that the original JBL woofer had a foam surround, and whoever owned the speakers couldn't or didn't know how to refoam them.
Looking at the few things I found on line, I didn't see listed what model woofer and midrange are in the 4410. But the tweeter IS the 035Ti, so you might actually have them. I can't really tell from the brochure photo but there might have been a ring of foam around the tweeter that has deteriorated. The speakers are from around 1986 so that's...almost 30 years now...
Good luck
