There was a model 602, covered in the 1961 Sams folder 525-11, and a 602M, covered in 1963 folder 625-12. Haven't heard either one. Output transformers in the 602 were on the small side, wouldn't expect super bass response.

Yea thats pretty much it to my ears, not drastic it has a decent sound but nothing like the Pilot SA-260 I run or even the Dynaoco Mk IVs. And truthfully and you would not believe it but I have run both with the same speakers my Bogen 110's sound sweet accross the board going back to them for the small room I am using the amp (pilot 602) in. Thanks for your reply.
What the heck is it that makes those little Bogen DB-110's so musical? Well other than 6V6 tubes.
Man there is something so magical about the sound of those little amps. I went out and bought several DB 20's but still enjoy the 110's the most when we are talking those size and era amps. I love that pair I own and when I got them didnt cost much at all and neither did the 20's I have no idea what they go for now. But everything goes up.
