There is modern analog equipment that I do not consider vintage. I also consider early CD players to be vintage. YMMV!

They too are being replace with digital storage devices.
Not to say I STILL prefer to have that CD in my hand. But that's were it's going.

I know! Every week I buy CD's at a buck a piece from thrift stores. I have a fantastic CD collection now.

I like buying them used cheaply, too. Then I rip them to server for instant, shared use across four systems. Got tired of shuttling them back and forth. :)
I bought a Boltz CD rack for $5 at a thrift store, but I need to do some culling. I also have been giving CDs to friends, who are very appreciative.

as most places now only sell DVD players.
You have to go to there really high-end stores or the thrift stores!
