I normally participate in the General/Speakers/Tape asylums, but I have a question which I think is best posted here.
Does anyone know of a good source for vintage Marantz schematics, specifically 1959 - 1962 era? Amps and tuners especially.
Thank you!

A sincere Thank You! to everyone who has replied. Wow, you guys have your ear to the ground on this stuff! Lots of excellent sources have been recommended, and I truly appreciate it.
One person or source said that a few models never had published schematics, and I suspect that this is the case.
Truth be told, I wanted to do this search on the low-down, so that I could surprise a friend with it. I won't give away the specific model just yet, 'cause that would blow the whole thing. Suffice it to say that it's not in any of the referenced sources so far.
Thanks all!
:)
Try HiFilit
Schematics are fairly common. '59 marks the stereo er so primarily 8 and 9's for amps. The preamp is the 7 of course. The tuner 10B is a bitch with 22 tubes. If you have one, recommend simply changing power supply caps. dick sequerra who helped design the 10B is on record as saying it is as close to theoretically possible and the only way newer ones are better is because of digital filtering for the multiplex circuit. Don't screw with attempting to align the unit. The coils have corroded by now and you'll never get the factory settings again as the corrosion byproducts will fall in between the contacts.
Try googling individual model numbers and adding schematics.
Oh yeah be aware that marantz made faceplates bearing their name and logo for fisher tuners to match their system before they came out with the 10B

I dont think they had a tuner back then did they?
Check stereomanuals.com. Also, during that period Sam's Photofacts. The auction site usually has a decent number of originals for sale. For some product such as the 10 and 10b I understand no service information was released.

Sams covered the later solid-state models very well in the MHF (Modular Hi Fi) books, but only two tube-era models were covered. The 8B schematic (only) is in the #915 Servicer, and the Consolette ("Model One") is in #269-8. I might have the latter, haven't looked for it...
