I just purchased a Sony TA-1130 integrated amp locally from CL so that I could verify it is working. I got it for $45 because of 2 unsightly cosmetic issues to me, a phone # scratched into the top and the end of the power switch broken off at the knob. Will have to find a Sony switch w/ knob, or at least a knob I could try to epoxy on.
The Vintage Knob says they where made from '70-74.

As far as I understand it was there top integrated amp at the time, one step down from the TA2000/TA3200F pre/power combo, so I figured it might be pretty good.
In my youth I had the TA3200F power paired with a HK Citation 11 pre diving double Advents, with a Thorens TD125 mk11/Shure SME 3009 improved as the source. I thought the sound was outstanding back then so this Sony has somewhat of a sentimental value, because the power amp section is similar to the TA3200F with 65wpc instead of 110wpc.
The later versions had knurled knobs where-as the earlier ones had smooth. Mine has knurled knobs. I don't know if it's just cosmetic or they address an issues it may have had in the earlier versions.

After all the deliberation with fellow inmates here is a photo of what I ended up with. I now have a Sony TA1130 amp and Sony PS6750 turntable. Now I need to find suitable speakers. Here are a few blurry photos.
Congratulations! I a TA 2000F preamp and TA-3200F power amp and the build quality is superb! If it has not already been done, I would replace the electrolytic capacitors, because they would be showing their age by now. You got a TOL SOTA integrated for a song!

Cap replacement - Are you referring to the large filter caps beneath the gray plastic top covers? What is a suitable replacement?
Excuse my ignorance, but what is SOTA?
Those are the ones. Probably other on this forum would be able to make a better recommendation. You want something that matches physically as well as electrically. Any decent electrolytic that fits should do. If there are electrolytics in signal path, they should go too. There, the choice is more critical.
SOTA + State of the Arts.
