There are a few vendors on ebay that sell such adapters.
You say that you have received your Sherwood S-5000 back from Mike Samra, great news! Mikey texted me a couple of days ago that my S-5000/7189 will be on my rack in a week.
HOW DOES IT SOUND?
I recall about a month ago on the tube/DIY forum you were calling Mike's credibility into question. A public "dressing down" deserves a public apology - Doncha think?
It seems that all is well that ends well eh.

Thanks for the response.
My personal issues with anybody are just that. Personal! You all went after me without knowing the facts and that's fine. I do have a thicker skin than most. Don't stir up anything unnecessary.
And for the record I didn't get a chance to listen to it before he got it as when I bought it went directly to him for modification. So I really can't compare how it sounds now as to before but I'm sure it is as he describe if not better. And NO! I didn't get a chance to use it yet.
Please be patient. I am sure you will appreciate your amp as soon as you get appropriate adapters.
By the way, I managed to connect Silverline speaker cables with wide spades to the screw-type terminals of my recently acquired Eico ST-40. The screws just get hold of the ends of the spades, and I am not sure whether the contact is good or not, but it sounds good.
If you have speaker cables terminated with spades, you may experiment.
One observation - the amp must be placed onto the top shelf of your rack (if you use a rack). For some reason, I could not get proper connection when I placed the amp on the second shelf.
A lot of that was my fault Stace.I was not with it and Paul has been a great friend for years and he has a heart of gold and I say that with no exaggeration..I was dysfunctional the last couple months and I should have been more adamant about getting someone to answer in my behalf but I always figured it would be a couple more days and I would be better and than wasn't. I appreciate your support Stace along with Paul and the rest of the forum...
Honest amplification is better than excessive 2nd order distortion anytime.
