GE 5U4GBs are a reasonable choice for the rectifiers. The current production ElectroHarmonix (EH) 5U4GB is good too.
The "reissue" Gold Lion KT88 is an obvious suggestion for the O/P tubes.
A "reissue" Mullard long plate 12AX7 should "goose" the mid-range up.
You have extra heater current available and you should take advantage of it. DON'T use 12AU7s, at all. Install a 12BH7 in the 12AU7 "hole". Perhaps 2 different NOS brands.
Talk to AA sponsor Jim McShane about your needs. Jim delivers good advice and properly culled merchandise, at a fair price.

Thanks for the suggestions Eli. Were I to follow your advice and run 12BH7 instead of the 12AU7, what would you suggest I try?
What Eli said! ;^)
I got a few 12BH7's from Jim a while back and used them in place of the 12AU7 in my Pilot SA232. It like your Mac has extra heater current so it's a plug in swap no problem.
You can clearly hear a step up in sound quality.
Good luck!
Talk to Jim. A lot of what he's forgotten, I'll never learn.
