I started with just "one" receiver 8 years ago, now have 10. I have all the ones I want but I would give a Fisher 400, maybe 500 some serious thought if a nice one came my way.
I had to have two custom cabinets made to house a couple of the receivers because they were 21-22" wide. I like your clean uncluttered look, sigh.
This is my work in progress. Hope to have it tidied up in the next few days.
Follow Ups:
Let's see, wire from receiver 8, left main + goes to speaker 16, left + or is it speaker 15? WHere does the wire from the receiver's right main go? Oh, it is not connected.
I think I will just go back to the 10,000 piece jigsaw puzzle as it may be easier to put together.
It does look like you are in need of an industrisl size switcher. But, it is good that you are not just going the shelf queen route.

but I tried to make this as simple as possible.
Each receiver has it's own dedicated set of speaker cables with dual bananas at the end and a little piece of masking tape with the model # marked on it. I just pick a pair of cables that match and leave the others alone...easier than a 10,000 piece jigsaw puzzle...safer that Russian Roulette.
btw, with those big Sansui's and Pioneer, it was the "shelf queen" route and that got old pretty quick.
I would like to do something similar but each speaker I have has a different requirement with only 1 that can use banana plugs. Likewise each amp I have has different requirements that in the end make bare wire the best option so, I ended up simply going bare wire on all except the Wharfedale W70s that require and odd sized banana plug. I have thought about converting the W70s to accept the standard banana plug but know I will never get to it.

:-)...It's looking a lot neater these days. Actually, each receiver has it's own speaker cable with a dual banana at the end. I connect 2 or 3 at a time and pick which receiver I want to listen to.
Good eye, yes it's a Model 18.
