Hey Mike S, Brian L, Tadlo, Airtime, and any other vintage fans. Turn up your volume when you watch this, it's great tunes, and let me know if you like it, I need a book report...Mark Korda

Hi Crooner, that was the best slide show or what ever with outstanding music. The horns were playing a cry baby like sound and made my small computer speakers come to life! I posted it to rev things up a little on the vintage forum, which I thought some others might see by now. The early shots of Saul Marantz and Sid Smith were hifi historic. Great job, I wish I knew how to put something like that together...fantastic stuff!..Mark Korda
I did that a few years ago with my limited computer video editing skills. I am most proud of the sound quality since the source is a mint 1959 copy of Mingus AH UM played on my VPI Scout via my Marantz 7's phono stage. I tried to make it sound as good as possible for the YouTube medium. It's an amazing recording!

A front panel with 12 controls and yet it is so elegantly laid out it looks more simple and more beautiful than any other stereo preamp of any generation.
and it sounds like it looks.
I tried resisting one for years but finally caved. Was real happy to find out it sounds wonderful also.
