I've got one of these bad boys at home that's been restored. The only problem, it only gets "The Shadow" and "Amos 'n Andy" re-runs!

I have the same radio! My radio is not restored, like yours. We used to have a station in the area that broadcasts popular music from the 40's and 50's in AM, so it was a lot of fun to listen to them on an old radio. There isn't much to listen to now. I am not very interested in hearing angry people rant, even when I agree with them.

From time to time, I'll listen to the Padres play and imagine what it was like back then when it was THE only form of electronic entertainment.

Baseball had not occurred to me. I will give it a try. It sounds like fun!
