Hard to value w/o more info/photo-
when was it last operated?
I have seen console pieces from the '40-'70 go for nothing - off the sidewalk to people asking $200-300 on CL- don't know if they sell....
If it has not run in a few years - there should be some work to check caps etc. and then power up slowly -
What does your friend want for it?
Happy selling
Follow Ups:
he was listening to it tonight. This is a desk top unit.I have been updated on this item. It is a two piece set up. Desk top or counter top. One is half the size because it only has a speaker in as the other is a stereo unit with speaker.

Is it called a Penthouse?
Dave
Why thank you for that post. I have just seen your later post on another thread and it clicked in my head what you said, as being called a Penthouse. Very good, now I should check with my buddy to see if he was able to sell it at his street sale. Thanks again
This helps identify -
AM only?
How does it sound?
Sounds interesting and possible early stereo (late '50-'60s)
Might be able to get $50-75.00?
Not a hard number-
If the case is in great shape, and it tunes well...
Otherwise less....
Happy selling
it's a Am and Fm stereo which makes me think late 50's or early 60's Brown wood and grill cloth. Thank you for your help and input to come up with a idea in pricing such a unit.
trying to get photo.
