a vintage AKAI AA-8500 Stereo Receiver!Nice looking and all! I have seen & heard there Reel to Reel & Tape decks,but never anything else! I plan to ask the folks here about it & thought I would ask you first!Here what specs I could find on it from HiFi Engine!

I have seen a lot of Akai gear, but I have never seen a receiver that looked like that. It looks very 70's with wood case and sliders. It also looks very well built. Enjoy!

I am still wondering if I should purchase it! The guy wants $80.00 for it which I feel is a little high even though it is somewhat rare!But since I can listen to it before I buy & no shipping fees like EBAY,I just might chance it?Also what did you think of there sound & build quality?
