unsure about these, though I'm thinking JVC? AlNiCo magnets?
I'm thinking of experimenting with in an OB, T/S parameters might come in handy if I start playing with a crossover.

Sorry, I can't find this. Fostex and Sonics made similar looking units, but t/s parameters, if any, might be there, but in Japanese.
thanks. I removed them from a beat up pair of JVC VS-5391. I paid $4.99 at my local GW for them.
it is quite an impressive looking 6". It will go on the shelf for future DIYing.

I was trying to research the driver by itself. Then I remembered last night how it came to me.
The cabinets in your link look nice. I was looking for better quality cabinets to replace my bedroom speakers which are EPI/Triangle marriage with DIY 1400 hz 2nd order XO. I hand wound the inductors with 16ga magnet wire. Anywho, spotted the JVCs and couldn't pass on them for $5. The cabinets were vinyl wrapped and ready for landfill. The Walnut would have been a major upgrade for my babies.
